Ben's Carnegie Dinner Fundraiser - January 30, 2015 - was a success!
Benjamin Jon Burr has been selected to participate in the elite Honors Performance Series! He has the opportunity to rehearse and perform under master conductors and showcase his talent before distinguished representatives invited from collegiate and professional music programs. Best of all, he'll be able to perform alongside other musicians his age in a truly world-class venue—Carnegie Hall!

Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
Benjamin sings in the chorus and the honors select choir at Harwood Union High School, and has been chosen for this event at Carnegie Hall for his vocals. He has performed as a supporting lead in the last two musicals at Harwood, and this year, he landed the lead (Horton in Seussical).
Ben has participates in the Winooski Valley Music Festival, the Madrigal Festival and All-States for his choral work, and has been accepted to the New England Music Festival this year as well.
Additionally, Ben plays 9 instruments, including piano, drums, trombone and trumpet, he also plays stringed instruments: ukulele, banjo, mandolin, bass guitar and mostly, guitar. He plays lead guitar in the Harwood Assembly Band, and in an extra-curricular band called "Nothing Quite yet" with other students from Harwood. Nothing Quite Yet performed in 2014 at the Warren, VT 4th of July Parade/Celebration and at the Vermont Music Festival at Lareau Farm. As a solo artist, Benjamin has performed at the Vermont State House, Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, and at the BoneStock Music Festival in Northfield.
